This renovation is part of the Park District’s ambitious Pickleball Mania initiative, which aims to add a remarkable 200 new courts across the city by the end of 2025. For those eager to engage in pickleball sports beyond Foster Park, Grand Crossing Park, located at 7655 S. Ingleside Ave., offers six new pickleball courts, in addition to two resurfaced tennis courts. Improvements also include repaved ADA-accessible pathways and benches, ensuring that the facilities are welcoming to everyone in the community.

Earlier this month, Park District officials, joined by Ald. Michelle Harris (8th), celebrated the improvements at Grand Crossing Park, marking a milestone for local recreational opportunities.
