New Pickleball Courts Coming to Farmington: Excitement Builds

New Pickleball Courts Coming to Farmington: Excitement is building in Farmington as four new pickleball courts are being constructed at Creekside Park. Employees from Fay-Ark Lawn Services were spotted laying sod for the new facilities, promising to enhance the local sports scene and provide a welcoming space for community engagement.

A Waiting Game for Quality

AJ Jefferson, representing Southern Building Services, Inc. of West Fork, shared important details regarding the court preparation. “A coating on the courts has to set for 28 days before the contractor can install nets or interior 4-foot fences between each court,” he explained. This meticulous process underscores the commitment to quality and safety for players.

Amenities to Enhance the Experience

In addition to the courts themselves, the area will be equipped with essential amenities, including lights for evening play, picnic tables for relaxation, and trash receptacles to keep the park clean. These features reflect a thoughtful approach to creating a vibrant recreational hub for the community.
