Pickleball Thrills Await at SOMO 2024: The Southwest Organ Mountains Open (SOMO) returns for its third annual tournament on October 19-20, 2024, at the Centennial High School Tennis Complex, located at 1950 Sonoma Ranch Blvd, Las Cruces, New Mexico 88001. USAPA Sanctioning and Registration
This year’s tournament is USAPA sanctioned, and all participants are reminded to verify that their USAPA Membership is in good standing, specifically as a Champion Member ($60 annual fee), before registering. New members should note that a current USAPA Membership is required to compete in a sanctioned event.

Registration Fees and Communication

Refund and Weather Policy
As this is an outdoor pickleball event, weather conditions may affect scheduling. In the event of delays, the tournament organizers will make every effort to reschedule matches for the same day.
However, if the tournament is canceled due to weather, no refunds will be issued. Participants do have the option to pay later or cancel their registration before October 13, 2024, although a $10.00 administrative fee will apply to cancellations.
Venue Information
The Centennial High School Tennis Complex features 16 outdoor asphalt courts with portable nets. Pickleball players will be using Franklin X-40/X-26 balls. Parking is available at no cost and is conveniently located close to the courts.
