Chapel Hills Mall Welcomes Peak Pickleball for a New Era of Indoor Sports

Chapel Hills Mall welcomes Peak Pickleball that is establishing itself among the largest privately-owned indoor pickleball facilities in the world. With 24 pickleball courts spread across two floors, this new pickleball venue aims to foster community engagement through the rapidly growing sport.

A Passion for Pickleball

“I’m a D1 tennis convert, and I’m a full pickleball addict now because of the community in Colorado Springs.” said Peak Pickleball pro athlete Alli Hazrari. Her words capture the essence of what Peak Pickleball is striving for—a welcoming environment for players of all skill levels.

Affordable Access and Free Pickleball Lessons

For those interested in playing, it costs $10 per hour per person without a membership, while monthly memberships provide a reduced hourly rate. Wilson, a representative from Peak Pickleball, emphasized the commitment to newcomers, offering a free, two-hour personal lesson with one of their pros.

“That’s what pickleball’s all about. We’re really about newbies. We want to teach you how to play pickleball.” – (Wilson)

Designed for Community and Comfort

The pickleball facility is designed with the player experience in mind, featuring wider out-of-bounds margins than typical courts and incorporating noise reduction elements to encourage conversation. Wilson articulated the facility’s goal.

“We want people to come and revitalize Chapel Hills Mall so that people get together again and have more community. We’ve gotten too isolated as a community. We need to get together and talk about our differences, talk about the things that we have in common.” – (Wilson)

A New Chapter for Chapel Hills Mall

Peak Pickleball is the latest addition to a wave of experiential ventures replacing traditional retail spaces in Chapel Hills Mall. The pickleball facility takes over the former Burlington Coat Factory, a long-time staple, as the mall prepares to welcome an interactive aquarium next summer.
