Barbie-Themed Pickleball Showdown: The On Court Adventures Barbie Pink Women’s Doubles Tournament is set to bring a splash of color and fun to the courts at the Mesa Tennis & Pickleball Center at Gene Autry Park on November 16, 2024. This rescheduled pickleball event promises competitive yet light-hearted pickleball action, where players are encouraged to wear their best Barbie pink attire while competing in a morning round-robin format.

Tournament Details
This non-elimination Women’s Doubles event, divided by age and skill level, will kick off at 8:30 AM, with check-in starting at 8:00 AM.
Players will enjoy around three hours of matches, all while competing for medals awarded to the top three teams in each bracket.
- Medals: Awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places in each bracket.
- Snacks & Refreshments: Light snacks and bottled water will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Attire: Be sure to wear your best Barbie pink.
Format and Scoring
All teams will compete in a round-robin format, meaning every team plays each other with no eliminations. Match results and medal winners will be determined according to International Federation of Pickleball (IFP) rules, following the criteria below:
- Total matches won
- Head-to-head matches won
- Point differential
- Head-to-head point differential
- Point differential against the next-highest team
Registration Information
- Fees: Each player must register individually. If a teammate fails to register within five days, the registered player will be placed on a waiting list.
- DUPR Rating: The tournament is now utilizing DUPR (Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating). Players must create or connect their DUPR accounts.

The pickleball tournament will take place on 24 outdoor pickleball courts, with permanent and portable nets. The venue offers a pickleball hardcourt surface, making it ideal for competitive play in the Arizona sun.
