1st Annual Pickle BaL Tournament Set to Kick off in Bradenton: Fun and Fundraising

The 1st Annual Pickle BaL Tournament is set to take place on November 30, 2024, at the UMR Sports Complex in Bradenton, Florida. This one-day event aims to benefit Bridge a Life (BaL), an organization dedicated to supporting foster and adoptive families. With the belief that every child deserves a family and every family deserves support, BaL envisions a world where children affected by relational trauma find healing in fully-equipped homes.

Event Details

Participants can look forward to a vibrant day of mixed doubles pickleball, beginning at 8:00 AM. Time slots for each event will be communicated once registration closes. A medal ceremony and prize drawings will follow each skill level event, with the final match concluding by late afternoon.

Every participant will receive a commemorative T-shirt and a raffle ticket for exciting prizes. Additionally, this pickleball tournament will feature complimentary water, snacks, cornhole games, and music. A food truck will also be on site for those looking to grab a bite.

Registration costs $60, plus a $5 processing fee. Each player must create their own Pickleball Brackets account to register.

Registration Information

Players are encouraged to select their partners during the event registration. If a participant does not have a partner, they can indicate their need for one, allowing others to reach out.

Refund Policy

Participants should be aware that there are no refunds for this event. Entry fees (minus the service fee) will be considered a donation to Bridge a Life.

Weather Policy

As this tournament will take place outdoors, every effort will be made to adhere to the scheduled events. However, should weather conditions pose safety risks, players will be informed about any bracket cancellations. In the unfortunate event that the tournament cannot proceed, all entry fees will be donated to Bridge a Life.
