The Dink The Halls 3 Indoor Pickleball Tournament, hosted by PickleballTourneys.com, is set for December 5-8, 2024, at Sports Connection in Charlotte, NC. Registration closes on November 25, 2024, at midnight (PST), and the entry fee is $95. The tournament will cater to players of varying age and skill levels, offering doubles and singles brackets for men, women, and mixed divisions.

Event Schedule and Brackets

Each day of the pickleball tournament will feature different events:

  • December 5: Men’s Doubles (50+, 60+) & Women’s Doubles (50+, 60+)
  • December 6: Men’s and Women’s Singles (All Ages)
  • December 7: Men’s Doubles (19+, 35+) & Women’s Doubles (19+, 35+)
  • December 8: Mixed Doubles (All Ages)

In doubles, competitors will play through round-robin brackets followed by a single-elimination playoff, while singles matches will follow a round-robin format without playoffs.

Rules and Registration Requirements

Participants are required to register for doubles events as a team, with both players completing registration within 72 hours. Unregistered teams may be moved to the waitlist.

All results will be recorded in the DUPR ranking system, and payouts will be awarded to gold medalists in the 5.0+ skill level. The pickleball event will follow USAP guidelines, and paddles not approved by USA Pickleball will not be permitted.

Additional Information and Policies

Sports Connection will provide water bottles, and concessions will be available for cash purchases. There is no fee for parking. The tournament director retains discretion over event management, and age/skill brackets may be adjusted based on participation.

The cancellation policy allows for a refund, less a $10 processing fee, if a withdrawal is made 30 days before the registration deadline.
