Tournament Structure and Format
The event follows a round-robin format and includes three age brackets: 65+, 50+, and under 50 (19+). Based on registrations, more age divisions may be added. Players can enter skill levels matching their rating or up to one level above.
Each bracket caps at 16 teams to ensure ample playing time and court availability, with a waitlist available for additional entries. Teams are finalized only once both players register and pay within a 24-hour window; otherwise, the team will be waitlisted.
Registration and Fees
In addition to Voyager’s registration fee, participants will incur a PickleballBrackets.com service charge of $5 per event, capped at $10. Full payment, waivers, and a signed-up partner are mandatory for each participant.
Tournament organizers, Suzanne Remington and Priscilla Scott, retain the right to adjust event formats, combine or close brackets based on enrollment, and determine scheduling adjustments if courts reach capacity.
Additional Information and Policies
The pickleball tournament will use the Franklin X-40 optic yellow ball, with check-in starting daily at 7:00 a.m. Players are advised to arrive at least 30 minutes before their match start time, which will be announced via email during tournament week.
Sunday, December 8, is reserved for rain-delay makeups. For the convenience of all participants, pets are not allowed around the court areas.
