Tournament Format and Schedule
The pickleball tournament will employ a round-robin format, with matches consisting of one game to 15 points, requiring a win by two. Following the round-robin phase, there will be single-elimination playoffs, with medal matches formatted as the best two out of three games to 11, also requiring a win by two.
The tournament is divided into age brackets of 50+, 60+, and 70+, with an open bracket available for all ages over 50.
- Friday, January 31: Singles (starting at 12:30 PM)
- Saturday, February 1: Doubles (starting at 8:00 AM)
- Sunday, February 2: Mixed Doubles (starting at 8:00 AM)
Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each age/skill category, ensuring recognition for the highest performers. The pickleball event will also feature skill brackets of 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, and an open category that allows any player aged 50 and above to compete.
Rules and Registration Requirements
Participants must have a DUPR account linked to their registration profile to compete. The tournament will follow USA Pickleball rules, and referees will be present to oversee the matches as deemed necessary by the head referee. Players are allowed to compete down in age or up in skill level, but not the reverse.

Hydration will be provided by Jigsaw Health, and participants can enjoy a 10% discount on orders using the code FOTG10. The tournament does not charge for parking. Refunds are available until January 6, 2025, with a $20 processing fee.
After this date, no refunds will be issued. Players withdrawing from the tournament must request a refund individually, as transfer of registration fees to substitutes is not permitted.
