Friendsgiving Pickleball Tournament: The 2024 Friendsgiving Pickleball Tournament is set to take place on November 30 at the Western Athletic Club in Cincinnati, Ohio. The one-day event, which kicks off at 1:00 PM, aims to bring the local pickleball community together while benefiting a worthy cause. Proceeds from the tournament will support Santa Maria Community Services, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing vital services to the Price Hill area.

Tournament Format and Divisions

The Friendsgiving Tournament will feature a round-robin format, offering players the opportunity to compete in a relaxed yet competitive environment. Divisions will be split by skill level and gender, with men’s divisions at 3.5 and 4.0, and women’s divisions at 3.0, 3.5, and 4.0. Each division will be capped at 12 entries, ensuring that participants get plenty of playtime.

After round-robin play, the top two teams from each pool will advance to their respective bracket for a chance at gold, silver, and bronze medals. The final structure of the event may be adjusted based on the final number of registrations.

Registration and Cost

Registration for the tournament opened on November 6 and will remain open until November 25, with an entry fee of $45 per person. The cost includes participation in the tournament, one soft drink, pizza, and prizes for the winners in each division. Players are encouraged to sign up early as space is limited to 12 teams per division.
