13 New Pickleball Courts: For those eager to join the ranks of America’s fastest-growing sport, a new pickleball venue has landed in the heart of downtown West Palm Beach. Starting Friday, City Pickle will officially open 13 new courts on the site of the former AMC movie theater, offering locals a fresh spot to experience the sport that’s sweeping the nation.
A New Experience in Pickleball
City Pickle’s new courts bring a unique setup to Florida, with each court featuring its own cabana — a welcome retreat from Florida’s intense sunshine. “We started in New York City. We have a number of courts and venues in New York City. We’re in Philadelphia. We’re really excited because this is our first time in Florida,” said Mary Cannon, co-founder of City Pickle.
Temporary Setup with Flexible Options
The new courts are a temporary addition, running through early spring. During this period, City Pickle will offer a range of options for players, including hourly and daily rentals, clinics, and private event bookings.
Opening Weekend Specials
City Pickle has announced discounted rates for opening weekend, running Nov. 8–10. Players can enjoy access to the courts at a reduced rate of just $5 per hour. Beyond the opening special, the courts will be available from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
