Four Seasons Orlando Launches Pickleball Courts: Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort has officially opened four new pickleball courts, enhancing its extensive sports facilities. The courts, located next to the Resort’s Har-Tru tennis courts, are accessible to resort guests, Four Seasons private residents, and members of Four Seasons Golf And Sports Club Orlando. The introduction comes in response to increasing demand for pickleball, currently the fastest-growing sport in America, bringing an exciting new activity to the resort.
Integrated Wellness and Recovery at The Spa
“We’re thrilled to expand our racquet sports offerings with pickleball due to strong guest interest,” shared Sarah Peltier, Director of Recreation at Four Seasons Resort Orlando. “Alongside tennis, our championship golf course, fitness classes, and lap lane swimming, the Resort offers a wide range of activities for those aiming to stay active and healthy.”
Four Seasons Resort Orlando’s focus on health doesn’t end at sports facilities. Derek Hofmann, Senior Director of Spa, highlights The Spa’s role in wellness, offering treatments designed for recovery. “Treatments at The Spa provide the perfect accompaniment to one’s wellness routine,” Hofmann said. The Spa includes sports recovery options like deep tissue massage, cupping, IV hydration, and a new Aescape robotic massage, alongside intramuscular injections.
Beyond racquet sports, the Resort offers an adult-only lap swimming lane, a fitness center with on-demand classes, and a collection of body and facial therapies at The Spa. Guests can unwind post-activity with treatments such as the Collagen Contour Facial, CBD-enhanced therapies, or the Healing Honey Massage. Spa patrons have access to relaxation lounges, al fresco whirlpools, and, for those reserving treatments over 50 minutes, exclusive day access to the Oasis Pool.
Pickleball for All Skill Levels
Pickleball’s appeal is in its simplicity, blending elements of tennis, table tennis, and badminton on a smaller, less physically demanding court. At Four Seasons, guests have the choice to use customized Holbrook pickleball paddles or bring their own.
