Mullins’ friend, Alex Pennington, described him as a skilled teacher. “Matt can teach a beginner how to be an intermediate, like it’s a regular business day,” he said, who has personally taken lessons from him and praised his unparalleled understanding of the game.

Sponsored by well-known brands, including Adidas, he now focuses solely on training. His approach is unconventional yet effective, combining active play with meticulous video analysis.

“It sounds weird. I’m a higher level and I am still watching videos right. But I definitely go home and watch videos. I think that helps tremendously.” – (Matthew Mullins)
