ONIX Pickleball Joins the Fight Against Breast Cancer: In October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, ONIX Pickleball made its fourth consecutive $10,000 donation to the Indiana Women in Need (IWIN) Foundation. This ongoing commitment aims to support individuals affected by breast cancer while encouraging awareness and funding essential resources. By mobilizing communities, ONIX seeks to rally support for individuals in need and contribute to life-saving research and meaningful support systems.
A Commitment to the Community
“We want to continue making a difference in our community. We hope we can encourage everyone to show up for your community, friends, and family fighting this disease not only during Breast Cancer Awareness month, but all year long.” – (Emily Patton, ONIX Pickleball’s Brand Manager)
The Paddle with a Purpose campaign includes ONIX Pro Pickleball players like Lucy Kovalova and Matt Wright, who were spotted using pink Evoke Premier paddles at a recent tournament, symbolizing the brand’s solidarity with those affected by breast cancer.
ONIX’s Pink Product Line for Awareness
This year’s Paddle with a Purpose campaign includes a line of pink-themed products, such as the popular Evoke Premier Pro Raw Carbon paddle, paddle covers, sports bags, wristbands, and a pink stainless steel water bottle.
Proceeds from these items help fund ONIX’s contributions, bringing awareness to breast cancer through the sport of pickleball.
IWIN Foundation’s Mission and Vision
The IWIN Foundation, with over 24 years of service, continues to provide vital resources to Indiana residents undergoing breast cancer treatment.
“The IWIN community is so grateful for this partnership with ONIX Pickleball and Escalade Sports that allows our Foundation to provide emotional, physical, and financial relief to Hoosiers enduring breast cancer treatment. As we reflect on 24 years of service, we recognize generous support like this is crucial to IWIN’s ability to be the ‘neighbor next door’ to more than 8,000 individuals served. We’re proud to be a source of hope during a challenging time for many.” – (Sara Hauck, Executive Director for IWIN)
Since its starting, IWIN has allocated over $3.2 million to support more than 8,000 individuals statewide.
