Kingsland’s Skyline Pickleball Club: On November 13, Skyline Pickleball Club held a soft opening in Kingsland, marking a significant step in the growth of the sport while introducing a fresh community hub. Located at the intersection of Skyline Drive, the club offers not only three full pickleball courts but also a restaurant and a fully stocked bar, providing a space for sport fans and casual visitors to come together.
A Community-Centered Vision
Mike Marone, the owner of Skyline Pickleball Club, envisioned the venue as a gathering point for locals. He shared his excitement saying,
“I love the concept of having a place in town where people can meet up, play, have drinks, and just get together and build community.” – (Mike Marone)
His goal was clear: to create a place where people could connect, enjoy good food, and participate in the growing pickleball scene.
Food, Drinks, and More
Skyline Pickleball Club doesn’t just focus on sports. It offers a diverse all-American menu that includes burgers, sandwiches, street tacos, and salads, catering to all tastes. The bar serves up a variety of cocktails and beer on tap, making it a perfect spot for socializing after a game or for those simply seeking a relaxing evening out.
Operating Hours and Future Plans
Although still in its soft opening phase, Skyline Pickleball Club is already making waves in the community. Current operating hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
The pickleball courts are open for play, and, as the club becomes more established, court reservations will soon be available through the PlayTime Scheduler app, which is widely used in the pickleball community for arranging games.
