Pickleball Event Schedule
The Matrix Winter Pickleball Classic will be played on up to 20 indoor, climate-controlled courts with a tennis surface. Events will take place throughout the weekend, starting with Men’s and Women’s Singles on Friday, followed by Men’s and Women’s Doubles and Open Doubles on Saturday.
The final event, Mixed Doubles, will occur on Sunday. Play on Saturday and Sunday may begin as early as 8 AM, with specific start times posted by the Wednesday prior to the event.

Competition Format
The Matrix Winter Pickleball Classic will follow a round-robin format for singles and doubles events. The number of teams in each bracket determines the specific scoring rules:
- Doubles brackets or pools with 8 teams or fewer: Games to 15 points, win by 2
- Doubles brackets with 9 teams and one pool: Games to 11 points, win by 2
- Singles brackets or pools with 7 teams or fewer: Games to 11 points, win by 2
- Pools of 10-12 teams: Split into 2 pools (A & B), with the top 2 teams advancing to the medal bracket
Skill Level and Age Considerations
Teams must play at the skill level of the higher-rated player and in the age group of the younger player. Age is calculated as of December 31, 2025. In the event of fewer than 4 teams in a bracket, divisions may be combined at the discretion of the tournament director. Awards will be based on the original division, not the combined bracket.

Prizes and Awards
Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each event. The order of finish will be determined based on the following:
- Total matches won
- Results of head-to-head competition
- Total point differential
- Total points won
In the event of a tie, the tournament director reserves the right to make adjustments to ensure fairness.
- Medals: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams
- Tie-Breakers: Determined by matches won, head-to-head results, point differential, and total points won
Refund Policy
Refunds will be provided minus a $10 processing fee for withdrawals made by the final day of registration. No refunds will be issued after registration closes. Refunds will be processed after the tournament concludes.

The Matrix Club offers free parking for participants, ensuring convenient access to the venue. There is no parking fee for the duration of the event.
