Pickleball at the Heart of Firefly: Luxury and Recreation Unite in Tennessee

Pickleball at the Heart of Firefly: A new luxury community, Firefly, is set to revolutionize recreational living in Middle Tennessee. Located 15 miles south of Franklin in Maury County, this 700-acre development promises more than 400 homes alongside premier amenities, including a state-of-the-art racquet club featuring indoor pickleball courts.

Pickleball and Recreation Take Center Stage

Firefly’s racquet club is poised to be a hub for pickleball players, boasting indoor courts designed for year-round play. With pickleball rapidly gaining popularity across the U.S., this facility shows Firefly’s commitment to catering to modern recreational trends.

The racquet club will complement a wide array of amenities, including a fitness center, swimming pools, and golf simulators, creating a vibrant and active community atmosphere.

A Partnership with Expertise

Storied Development, in collaboration with Wheelock Street Capital, is leading this ambitious project. Mark Yarborough, a partner at Storied Development, emphasized the growing interest in Firefly.

“We’ve created (a) Founder Member program to give people the opportunity to be the first members of Firefly Club. Founder Members will also have a priority position for the purchase of homesites should they decide this community is the home they’ve always wanted.” – (Yarborough)

The partnership with Wheelock Street Capital ensures Firefly remains debt-free, backed by years of real estate investment experience.

A Premier Destination for Active Living

In addition to pickleball, Firefly will offer an 18-hole golf course and a 9-hole short course, marking the first original design by world-renowned golf architect Andrew Green. While golf construction is set to begin this year, pickleball courts and other community amenities are expected to be completed alongside the first homesites by 2025.

“The topography of Middle Tennessee is a perfect canvas for a really interesting, challenging golf course. I think members are going to be excited by what we have planned.” – (Andrew Green)

Firefly’s homesite pricing starts at $500,000, with finished homes beginning at $2.5 million. As construction progresses, the community is shaping up to be a sought-after destination for those seeking an active and luxurious lifestyle.
