Community and Volunteer Effort

Jess Moore, from the WVU Medicine Foundation and Community Relations, shared her enthusiasm about the partnership.

“We’re really excited to be partnering with the Ohio Valley Pickleball Club. It’s a great group. The volunteers are doing an amazing job helping get sponsors, helping me learn the rules of pickleball, and it’s really been fun for us all to work together. I’m excited mostly about being able to honor the Ohio Valley Pickleball Club as one of our donors to our new center.” – (Jess Moore)

Moore emphasized the importance of the event not just for raising funds, but also for building community support for a critical cause.

“So, all of the money, the proceeds from this event will go towards our new campaign for a WVU medicine outpatient center.” – (Jess Moore)
