The grand opening event, held on Monday at 172 Connie Cresc., showcased the new courts, which are designed with modern amenities to enhance the player experience.

A Step Toward Meeting Rising Demand

The new courts, equipped with acrylic surfacing, LED lighting, and a shade structure with seating, are part of Vaughan’s effort to meet the rising demand for pickleball in the area. The addition increases the city’s total number of pickleball courts to 30, with 14 outdoor locations available for use on a first-come, first-served basis.

The opening of the new courts marks just one part of Vaughan’s larger commitment to expanding recreational opportunities and accommodating the increasing popularity of pickleball.
