Sanibel Island Hosts Pickleball Event: The Zonta Club of Sanibel-Captiva, alongside the Zonta Foundation of Southwest Florida, is gearing up for the inaugural “Peekleball Volley Against Violence” tournament, set for December 14-15 at the Sundial Resort & Spa on Sanibel Island. Participants will compete in doubles, mixed, and singles divisions, all while supporting Zonta’s mission to combat gender-based violence. The event aims to raise funds that will be directed toward local grants designed to help victims and advance Zonta’s advocacy for women and girls. This year’s focus aligns with Zonta’s ongoing fight against violence in its many forms: physical, psychological, sexual, and more.
