PickleRage Opens New Locations in Florida and Maryland, Plans for 500 More by 2029

PickleRage Opens New Locations in Florida and Maryland: PickleRage, a rapidly growing indoor pickleball franchise, is expanding its footprint with two new locations in Glen Burnie, Maryland, and Jacksonville, Florida. This move is part of the company’s broader expansion strategy, which aims to open over 500 clubs by 2029, fueled by a deal with private equity firm GreenPeak Venture Partners.

Glen Burnie to Host Exclusive Previews and Grand Opening

The Glen Burnie location will kick off with a VIP party on December 5, offering an exclusive preview of the facility. The soft opening will follow from December 6-8, giving community members a chance to enjoy free court access.

Regular operations will begin on December 9, with the grand opening set for January 17-18. This event will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony, live music, vendors, and various activities to celebrate the new club.

Jacksonville to Celebrate with Two-Day Grand Opening

In Jacksonville, PickleRage will host a two-day grand opening on January 3 and 4. The event will include open play, vendor stalls, and entertainment, marking the beginning of the franchise’s first indoor pickleball venue in Florida.

Innovative Facilities Set to Enhance Player Experience

PickleRage’s new indoor clubs offer state-of-the-art amenities, including CushionX edge courts—designed to provide joint-friendly surfaces similar to those used at the U.S. Open. Players will also have access to LED lighting, game-enhancing technology, and an advanced reservation system, all designed to elevate the overall playing experience.

“We’re excited to bring premier PickleRage facilities to both Jacksonville and Glen Burnie. These new locations mark a significant milestone in our expansion efforts as we prepare to enter Florida and Maryland for the first time, providing dedicated spaces where pickleball enthusiasts of all levels can connect, compete, and foster a sense of community. We’re committed to creating vibrant, accessible hubs for people to enjoy the game and build lasting connections, and we look forward to welcoming players from across these regions.” – (PickleRage chief operating officer David Smith)

A Rapid Expansion for PickleRage

The opening of these two locations is part of PickleRage’s larger growth strategy. The franchise is set to open over 200 locations across the U.S. over the next two years, targeting cities in Ohio, Georgia, Illinois, Florida, Texas, North Carolina, and Tennessee. By 2029, the company plans to have more than 500 locations nationwide.

“We couldn’t be more pleased with PickleRage’s progress thus far and are firmly committed to leveraging our resources to help them succeed.” – (Jared Feldman, managing principal at GreenPeak Venture Partners)
