The restaurant made a move from its previous spot at 1304 Chico Highway to a more spacious site at 506 US Highway 380 in late November. The shift was made in part to accommodate the growing recreational focus of the new location.

The addition of Sonic’s pickleball courts adds to the growing trend of pickleball facilities across Wise County. Recently, the City of Bridgeport opened new pickleball courts at Harwood Park, while the City of Decatur debuted its own complex at Hollis Jones Park earlier this summer. Court Reservations and Guidelines
Reservations for the Sonic pickleball courts can be made through the CourtReserve app or online, with court times available from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Court time is free of charge, though players are advised to bring their equipment to make the most of their reservation.
