Tournament Details
The tournament offers a four-game guarantee for each participant, and all players will receive a Heart Breaker Hat. To ensure players receive their tournament shirts, registration must be completed by February 7, 2025. The registration fee is $45, with an additional $20 charge per event, and $65 for Open Bracket events.
Brackets and Formats
The tournament will feature a variety of bracket formats depending on the number of teams:
- For 7 or fewer teams, round-robin play will be used, with games to 11 points, win by 2. The top four teams will advance to single-elimination playoffs.
- For 8 teams, pool play will occur with games to 15 points, win by 2, with all teams advancing to the playoffs.
- For 9 teams, pool play will include 3 rounds, followed by playoff rounds.
- For 10 or more teams, the top two teams from each pool will move on to the playoffs.
In playoff rounds, semifinal and gold/bronze medal matches will be one game to 15 points, win by 2. Final matches will be best 2 out of 3 games to 11 points, win by 2.
DUPR and Registration Requirements
Participants are required to link their DUPR account to their registration. If a player attempts to sign up without linking their DUPR account, they will encounter an error. Players are responsible for managing their DUPR accounts, as the tournament team cannot assist with this process.
Refund and Withdrawal Policies
Players who withdraw before February 7, 2025, will be charged a $10 withdrawal fee. No refunds will be issued for withdrawals made after this date. Any eligible refunds will be processed five days after the tournament concludes. If a player withdraws and wishes to transfer their spot, the replacement player must register and pay independently.
Venue and Amenities
The Bash Pickleball Club, located at 6881 Chicago Road in Warren, Michigan, will host the tournament. The indoor facility features 10 pickleball courts with a hardcourt surface and permanent nets. There is no parking fee for participants.
