The Glitter Ball New Year Pickleball Tournament will take place at Lost Pines Pickleball Club in Bastrop, Texas, from January 16 to January 19, 2025. Hosted by Zero Zero Fun, the event will feature 9 indoor, air-conditioned courts, offering players a chance to compete in a variety of categories, with gold, silver, and bronze medals up for grabs.
Registration for the event opens on June 18, 2024, and will close on January 10, 2025, with early registration priced at $35. After January 10, the price increases to $45. Players can register for up to two events per day, as long as they are not in the same category.
Tournament Events
The tournament will feature several events across multiple days:

- Women’s Doubles on January 18, 2025
- Mixed Doubles and Men’s Doubles on January 19, 2025
In addition to medals, cash prizes will be awarded to the winners of the Open Divisions, with $200 for each partner in the winning teams of Open Men’s, Women’s, and Mixed Doubles, as well as the singles winners.
Details and Expectations
Tournament days will run from around 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Players must check in at least 30 minutes before their events begin, and those who fail to check in on time may be withdrawn. All amateur games will use a round-robin format, followed by playoffs, with a minimum of 3 games for each team or player.

Lost Pines Pickleball Club is located at 1099 State Hwy 71, Bastrop, Texas, 78602. The club has 9 indoor courts, all air-conditioned, providing a comfortable playing environment. There is no parking fee at the venue.
Prize Money and Rules
The total prize pool exceeds $1,500, with cash prizes for gold medalists in each Open Division. The event will adhere to USAPA rules, with players responsible for their line calls and scoring. Players will receive up to 5 minutes of warm-up time before their first match, and 2 minutes for subsequent matches.
Refund and Withdrawal Policy
Entries are refundable minus a $20 administrative fee if requested 30 days before the event. Withdrawals within 30 days are non-refundable, and substitutions are not allowed in the two hours before an event starts.
