Bell Works NJ Welcomes Pickleball: Bell Works New Jersey, the sprawling two-million-square-foot “Metroburb” located in Holmdel, continues to diversify its offerings with the addition of five new tenants. This dynamic suburban hub has welcomed a pickleball club, a full-service restaurant, a barbershop, a mixed martial arts studio, and a luxury pet spa, further cementing its reputation as a vibrant community destination.

A Multifaceted Vision for the Metroburb

Ralph Zucker, CEO of Inspired by Somerset Development—the owner and manager of Bell Works—expressed his enthusiasm for the new additions.

“As Bell Works New Jersey continues to evolve, we’re excited to welcome new tenants that bring even more diversity to our growing ecosystem,”. “The DNA of Bell Works has always been about offering a well-rounded experience, not only for our office tenants but also for the local community. From pickleball courts to elevated dining and pet services, these additions reaffirm our commitment to creating a multifaceted destination.”-(Ralph Zucker)

The latest tenants exemplify this commitment, introducing unique amenities and experiences to the Metroburb:

  • Jersey Pickleball Club (13,800 sq. ft.): A premier indoor pickleball facility featuring professional courts, social spaces, and community programming.
  • Mabel (4,200 sq. ft.): The first full-service restaurant at Bell Works, offering coastal European cuisine.
  • Exclusive Cuts (800 sq. ft.): An upscale barbershop known for blending classic techniques with modern styles.
  • ARMR Studios (2,100 sq. ft.): A martial arts and self-defense studio offering a variety of training programs.
  • Peticures (900 sq. ft.): A luxury grooming and spa service for dogs.

Indoor Pickleball Courts Arrive in 2025

The Jersey Pickleball Club will occupy Bell Works’ lower level, debuting in mid-March 2025. This 13,800-square-foot indoor venue will feature five professional courts, lockers, and vibrant social spaces. The facility aims to cater to players of all skill levels and host a range of activities, including clinics, tournaments, and community events.

Stephen Rice, co-founder of Jersey Pickleball Club, highlighted the venue’s mission.

“We’re thrilled to bring the Jersey Pickleball Club to Bell Works, continuing its tradition of promoting health and fitness,” Rice said. “With its central location and exceptional amenities, Bell Works is the perfect place to introduce a year-round indoor pickleball experience for players of all levels.”-(Stephen Rice)

A New Dining Experience: Mabel

Bell Works has also enhanced its dining options with the opening of Mabel, a coastal European restaurant and bar helmed by chefs Laura Brahn and Grace Crossman. Spanning 4,200 square feet, Mabel is the first full-service sit-down restaurant at Bell Works. Its design reflects the architecture of the Metroburb, incorporating natural materials and a color palette inspired by its coastal cuisine.

“The ever-evolving environment at Bell Works is the perfect setting for Mabel,”. “We’re excited to have added a sit-down restaurant to the mix of dining options. We look forward to offering a unique dining experience to our guests at Bell Works for years to come!”-(Brahn and Crossman)

Mabel’s opening follows the September debut of Miznon Kosher, a fast-casual Mediterranean restaurant, further diversifying the culinary landscape at Bell Works.

More Amenities for a Thriving Community

Other recent additions have bolstered the Metroburb’s appeal. Exclusive Cuts, an upscale barbershop from Matawan, opened an 800-square-foot location last month. Known for blending traditional barbering techniques with modern styles, the shop has already attracted a steady clientele, including both locals and employees of Bell Works.

ARMR Studios, a 2,100-square-foot martial arts and self-defense training center, launched in September. Offering classes in Krav Maga, Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and boxing, the studio caters to all ages and skill levels. Owner Omar Ali emphasized the benefits of joining the Bell Works ecosystem.

“The thriving ecosystem here, with its high foot traffic and vibrant atmosphere, is the perfect setting for our family-friendly martial arts studio,”. “Not only does this community allow us to introduce our training programs to a wider audience, but it also enhances the experience for our existing customers.”-(Omar Ali)

Lastly, Peticures, a luxury dog grooming spa, opened its 900-square-foot facility. Providing premium services for pets, the spa further diversifies Bell Works’ growing portfolio of unique offerings.
