Tournament Details
The tournament will feature Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles, and Mixed Doubles. It will be held in a round robin format, with medal rounds following. The anticipated schedule includes Men’s and Women’s Doubles on Saturday and Mixed Doubles on Sunday. Participants are required to register with a partner, and if registering alone, they must ensure their partner registers within seven days to avoid being waitlisted.
Registration for the event opens on December 11, 2024, at 5:45 PM EST and closes on February 15, 2025, at 5:00 PM EST. The registration fee is $65, which covers all events. Both players in a doubles team must have paid the registration fee to complete their registration.
Venue and Logistics
The tournament will be held at the Carolina Pickleball Club, located at 724 Chipola Street, Kannapolis, NC 28083. The indoor venue offers 10 hardcourt pickleball courts. The event will be played on Franklin X-40 pickleballs, and the courts feature permanent nets. No parking fee is required, and the indoor space is non-air-conditioned.
Refund Policy
Participants who need to cancel their registration before February 15, 2025, will receive a full refund, minus a $10 processing fee. After this date, no refunds will be issued. As the event is indoors, inclement weather will not affect play.
