Red Deer Pickleball Tournament: The city of Red Deer is gearing up for a highly anticipated event—the inaugural Pickleball Fundraiser Corporate Charity Challenge. This event will take place on January 24 at Westerner Park, bringing together local businesses and organizations to support two great causes: The Outreach Centre and the Hockey Alberta Foundation.
A Day of Fun and Friendly Competition
Teams from across the community will converge at Westerner Park for a day filled with pickleball action. The event will kick off at 8:30 a.m. with an optional “Learn to Play” session hosted by the Red Deer Pickleball Club, giving newcomers a chance to hone their skills before the tournament begins. The official competition starts at 10 a.m., and all participants will receive lunch, along with transportation to the after-party at Bo’s Bar and Stage.
Sponsorship and Team Opportunities
While teams from local businesses will be on the court, sponsorship opportunities remain available. Court sponsorship includes two team entries (four people), eight tickets to the after-party, brand activation on the court and promotional materials, and the opportunity to purchase additional teams.
