Next Level Pickleball Expands to Green Bay with New Pickleball Facility and Injury Prevention Clinics

Next Level Pickleball Expands to Green Bay: Next Level Pickleball has opened a 24/7 indoor pickleball facility in Green Bay, partnering with Prevea Health to help players stay safe. As pickleball continues to grow in popularity, the facility aims to provide a year-round space for players while promoting injury prevention.

Meeting Green Bay’s Indoor Pickleball Demand

Next Level Pickleball co-owner Mark Biesack said expanding to Green Bay was a logical next step after success in Appleton.

“So, really the indoor infrastructure was something that was needed. So, after opening a place in Appleton, we knew Green Bay was the next market we wanted to tackle.” – (Mark Biesack)

The new facility offers players access to demo paddles, equipment on-site, and a spacious indoor environment.

“They love the whole wall of demo paddles behind it. They love that there’s a whole bucket of balls that they don’t have to bring their own balls, and just having a nice spacious indoor spot that you can come and play a sport that people fall in love with all summer and then have really nowhere to go in the winter, it’s definitely something people are really excited about.” – (Mark Biesack)

Injury Prevention in Focus

In collaboration with Prevea Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Surgeon Dr. Jonathan Dunker, the facility is raising awareness about preventing pickleball-related injuries. Dr. Dunker emphasized simple but effective precautions.

“A good idea is to always stretch and warm up. It’s always good to know your limits. It’s OK to tell someone “good shot” and let a ball go versus diving on the ground after it.” – (Dunker)

Biesack noted that pickleball often attracts players without a sports background, making education about warm-ups and cooldowns essential.

“This is getting people who might not be super athletic or might not have a sports background, it’s getting them into sports. So, they might not have that background into warm-ups and cool-downs and just kind of sustaining that athletic lifestyle.” – (Mark Biesack)

Plans for Health Clinics

Next Level Pickleball plans to expand its partnership with Prevea by hosting health clinics to educate players on staying active and safe while enjoying the game.

With the facility’s commitment to safety and its year-round availability, it’s set to become a popular spot for Green Bay residents who love the sport. As injuries become more common in pickleball, these efforts could help players enjoy the game while reducing risks.
