The first-ever Paris Classic Pickleball Tournament, hosted on November 1-2 at the Sue Hays Pickleball Complex in Paris, Texas, raised $20,000 for the Children’s Advocacy Center of Paris. The event featured 72 teams across six divisions and drew strong community support. Morgann Cobb, director of marketing and communications at Thomas A. Ables & Associates, said,

Community Celebration with Tournaments and Festivities
In addition to the matches, the event included a Pickleball Party at Home2Suites Conference and Event Center on Friday evening. Guests enjoyed live music by local band Common Ground, food from Capizzi’s Italian Kitchen, and a silent auction.
The tournament’s success was made possible through sponsorships, donations, and local businesses. Major sponsors included Thomas Ables & Associates, Farmers Bank and Trust, Liberty National Bank, and others. Local vendors and food trucks, like Texas Paddle Co. and Moe’s Woodsmith Shop, added to the lively atmosphere.
