Tournament Details and Registration Information
This pickleball tournament will feature three main events. Mixed Doubles will be played on Friday, May 30, while Men’s and Women’s Doubles will take place on Saturday, May 31. Matches may begin as early as 8:00 AM each day, with specific start times emailed to participants one week before the event.
Registration is open now until May 24, 2025, with a $50 fee for one event. Additional events can be added for $10 each. Players must register by May 15 to guarantee a free tournament shirt.
Competition Levels and Age Groups
Players of all skill levels, from 2.5 to 4.5+, are encouraged to participate, with age groups including 15+, 35+, 50+, and 60+. Teams must play at the higher skill level of their members, and the age group will be based on the younger players.
Age is calculated as of December 31, 2025. DUPR ratings will be used, and players may be moved to a higher or lower bracket at the discretion of the tournament director.
Rules and Format
This pickleball event will have self-monitored matches, and referees will be available upon request. If a team does not fill a bracket, tournament management reserves the right to combine brackets or switch to double elimination to ensure a smooth competition.
Registration is first-come, first-served, and players should note that their spot is not secured until both members of a team have registered and paid in full.
Refund and Weather Policy
The tournament’s refund policy allows participants to withdraw by May 10, 2025, for any reason and receive a refund minus a $20 administrative fee.
No refunds will be issued after that date unless players have purchased weather or injury insurance. This outdoor event will proceed rain or shine unless canceled due to inclement weather conditions.
Venue and Facilities
The tournament will be held at River Park in Ellijay, Georgia, at 1561 South Main Street. The facility offers eight outdoor pickleball courts with a hardcourt surface, and there is no parking fee. Participants will play with DIADEM balls on permanent nets.
A Chance to Give Back
While the tournament promises to be a competitive event, it also provides an opportunity to support CASA for Children, a non-profit organization dedicated to advocating for children in the foster care system.
