Millersville’s Premier Pickleball Event: The No Love, Just Dinks Classic Pickleball Tournament is scheduled for February 21-23, 2025, at The PutAway in Millersville, Maryland. Players from around the region will compete in various doubles events, including Split Age Anything Goes, Gender Doubles, and Mixed Doubles, with skill levels ranging from 3.0 to 4.5+.
Event Details and Format
This three-day event, organized by LFG Tourneys and The PutAway, will feature seven regulation courts indoors, ensuring that weather will not affect the competition. The tournament will offer both amateur and open divisions, with prize money awarded to the top finishers in the 4.5+/Open and Senior Open categories.
The schedule is as follows:
- Friday, February 21: Split Age Anything Goes 3.0-4.0 and 4.0+ tournaments.
- Saturday, February 22: Men’s and Women’s Doubles (Amateur), and Open/Pro Gender Doubles.
- Sunday, February 23: Amateur Mixed Doubles, with Open/Pro and Senior Open/Pro Mixed Doubles.
For the 4.5+ Open/Pro events, the Gold medal will earn $1,000, Silver $500, and Bronze $300, with a minimum of six teams per event required for the prize payouts.
Registration and Pricing
The tournament has a tiered registration fee:
- $50 if registered by December 31, 2024.
- $55 between January 1 and January 18, 2025.
- $60 from January 19 to February 16, 2025. Amateur events cost $15 per entry, while Open events are $60 each.
Participants must register through Pickleball Brackets, and payments will be processed via Stripe. Early registration is encouraged to avoid price increases.
Refund Policy
Players who need to cancel can receive a full refund until January 21, 2025, minus a service fee. After that, partial refunds are available up to a week before the tournament starts, but no refunds will be issued after February 14, 2025.
Venue and Amenities
The tournament will be held at The PutAway, located at 254 Najoles Rd Suite A-K, Millersville, MD. The venue features seven indoor pickleball courts with a hardcourt surface. Players will use Franklin X40 balls, and the event will follow 2024 USA Pickleball rules. No parking fees will be charged.
