Tournament Details
Registration for the event opened on December 19, 2024, and will close on February 1, 2025. The cost to register is $45, though the price increases to $55 after January 18. Players can register for one event, with additional events costing $15 each.
The tournament format will follow a round-robin structure, with medal brackets or matches after the round robin. Skill levels include 3.0 and under, 3.5, 4.0, and 4.5 and above. A team must play at the skill level of the higher-rated player. For players without a rating, the PickleballBrackets.com self-rating will be used.
Schedule and Venue
Men’s and women’s doubles will begin at 8:00 AM on Saturday, February 8, with mixed doubles starting at 1:00 PM the same day. Specific start times will be emailed to participants approximately one week before the tournament.
The event will be held at the Daphne Tennis & Pickleball Complex, located at 2000 Main Street, Daphne, AL. The outdoor tournament will be played on 12 hardcourts, using Franklin X-40 balls. Parking is free, and the courts are non-covered.
Refund Policy
Participants who wish to cancel must do so by 12:00 PM on January 25, 2025, to receive a refund minus a $15 administration fee. No refunds will be issued after this date unless players have purchased tournament cancellation insurance. In the event of weather-related cancellations, refunds are only available to those with insurance.
Important Notes
Players who fail to show up or leave the event without notifying the tournament director will face a $25 fine. This fine must be paid before they can register for future Pickled Pink Pickleball events.
