Transforming the Police Substation
This proposed fieldhouse comes shortly after the Maricopa Police Department opened its new, larger station at the City Center. Quinn Konold, a city spokesperson, shared that the current facility will be repurposed for administrative and storage space while a new building will be constructed adjacent to it.

The renderings illustrate a new building that will replace the current impound lot located at the substation’s backside, along M.L.K. Jr. Boulevard. If constructed, this building would accommodate a variety of indoor activities, including pickleball, which has seen a surge in popularity.

Chasse Building Team is known for creating healthcare facilities, apartment buildings, and schools, including Desert Sunrise High School in Maricopa.
