Howells and Munro Win Back-to-Back Titles

The championship match started with Howells and Munro edging out Lange and Manthou 12-10 in a competitive first game.

However, their opponents responded in game two, jumping to a 7-2 lead. The defending champions regrouped, used a timeout to adjust their strategy, and mounted a comeback to win 11-9, sealing their title defense.

“Our change of rhythm and change of pace. We ended up playing their game for a bit, and they took advantage of it big time. We used a timeout and had a little change of strategy, we recognized a few patterns that worked and got it done.” – (Munro)

Mark Dancuart and Patrick Kawka earned bronze in men’s doubles, rounding out the podium.
