Pickleball Scores Big: APP Chicago Open to Make Live TV Debut on Marquee Sports Network

Association of Pickleball Players Chicago Open: The Association of Pickleball Players (APP) confirmed that Marquee Sports Network will serve as the official broadcast partner of the 2025 APP Chicago Open. Live coverage will air daily from August 28-31, marking the first pickleball broadcasts on the Chicago Cubs’ television home.

Broadcast Plans

Marquee Sports Network will provide five hours of coverage each day from August 28-30, followed by the first gold medal match on Championship Sunday, August 31. Broadcast times are:

  • Thursday, Aug. 28 | 11 am – 4 pm ET

  • Friday, Aug. 29 | 1 – 6 pm ET

  • Saturday, Aug. 30 | 1 – 6 pm ET

  • Sunday, Aug. 31 | 1 – 2 pm ET

Event Details

The APP Chicago Open will be played August 27-31 at Danny Cunniff Park and the new Club Pickle & Padel in Highland Park, Illinois. The event will feature top professional players and hundreds of athletes of all ages and levels. Competitors will battle for a $100,000 prize pool.
