What is DUPR?
DUPR (Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating) is a system that helps players find fair and competitive matches based on skill level. It allows players to track their progress and improve their gameplay by participating in DUPR-sanctioned events. These rating sessions are the first step in the RTM tournament series, which leads to opportunities to qualify for MiLP rosters at various DUPR levels.
Session Format and Requirements
The RTM DUPR sessions for the 4.0-4.4 rating level will follow a round-robin format, where players will rotate partners during the session, which lasts about two hours. No pre-registered partners are needed.
To participate, players must have an active DUPR account and be members of Down the Line and D.C. Pickleball Team. Players must also attend at least two RTM DUPR sessions before registering for most RTM tournaments.
Perks for Participants
Players who attend the RTM sessions will receive a branded item and the chance to win raffle prizes. Additionally, joining Down the Line and D.C. Pickleball Team club accounts will automatically enter players into a drawing for 2025 MLP D.C. tickets. All session results will be recorded in the DUPR system, contributing to players’ official ratings.
Registration and Refund Policy
Registration for the RTM DUPR sessions is open now through February 26, 2025, at a cost of $30. There is a no-refund policy for cancellations made less than seven days before an event. Cancellations made at least 48 hours in advance may receive a refund if a waitlisted player fills the spot.
