Dallas Flash and DUPR: The Dallas Flash, champions of Major League Pickleball (MLP) in 2024, have partnered with Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating (DUPR) to introduce the Road to Minors (RTM) Tournament Series. This groundbreaking initiative offers amateur players a structured path to compete for a spot on the Dallas Flash’s Minor League Pickleball (MLP) team.
The RTM series launches with its first event on March 22-23, 2025, in North Texas. Players will vie for a chance to advance to the Minor League Pickleball Midsouth Regional Showdown on June 28-29.
The program will continue throughout the year, culminating in the RTM Cup tournament, where participants can qualify for The Dink Minor League Pickleball National Championship in December 2025.
A New Pathway for Amateur Players
The RTM series is the first year-round program dedicated to developing local pickleball talent. By competing in RTM-sponsored tournaments, players have the opportunity to be scouted for Minor League Pickleball teams. Those who perform well may earn a spot to represent the Dallas Flash at the national level.
In addition to tournament opportunities, RTM players will receive special perks for the highly anticipated MLP Dallas Event, scheduled from July 23-27, 2025. This event will bring top-tier pickleball talent to Dallas, giving aspiring players a chance to witness professional-level competition up close.
