After winning both gender doubles matches, Orlando entered mixed doubles needing just one more win to clinch the match. Lacy Schneemann and Federico Staksrud delivered, securing an 11-7 victory over Judit Castillo and Ryan Fu in the first mixed doubles contest.
With the win, the Squeeze closed out the Hard Eights in regulation, avoiding a DreamBreaker tiebreaker.

The SoCal Hard Eights concluded their time at the MLP Orlando 2025 with two match losses, falling short in both appearances. Meanwhile, the Orlando Squeeze will return to action later Friday afternoon for a second match against the Phoenix Flames, aiming to stay undefeated in their home state.
