Columbus Sliders’ DreamBreaker Triumph: The Columbus Sliders earned their fifth straight win in the 2025 Major League Pickleball season with a DreamBreaker victory over the Phoenix Flames. The close match took place at Pickle & Chill during the 2025 MLP Columbus presented by The James at Ohio State.
Bellamy Steps Up for Columbus
With CJ Klinger out sick, Roscoe Bellamy started in his place. He and Andrei Daescu lost in men’s doubles to Tyson McGuffin and Jack Sock, but Bellamy came back strong. Teaming with Lea Jansen, he won the second mixed doubles match to force a DreamBreaker. Bellamy gave credit to his teammates for their support.
“I have a lot of good people around me like Parris, Andrei, Lea, and the rest of the team that are all keeping me motivated. I think in that first match I started a little slow and a little tight, and it was really everyone around me that kind of brought me back to life and made me play my game.” – (Bellamy)
