Columbus Sliders Stun Atlanta Bouncers with Flawless Sweep, Roscoe Bellamy Shines in 2025 MLP Columbus

Columbus Sliders’ MLP Columbus Victory: The Columbus Sliders wrapped up their weekend at the 2025 MLP Columbus presented by The James at Ohio State with a dominant 4-0 win over the Atlanta Bouncers at Pickle & Chill. This victory helped the Sliders (7-4, 20 points) snap a two-match losing streak in front of their home fans, while the Atlanta Bouncers fell to 3-6 with 8 points.

Sliders Bounce Back

Coming into Sunday, the Columbus Sliders had lost their previous two matches. However, they quickly regained their form and delivered a strong performance. The win was especially significant since it came without their regular player, CJ Klinger, who was sidelined due to the flu.

Roscoe Bellamy Steps Up

With CJ Klinger unavailable for all five of the Sliders’ matches, Roscoe Bellamy, the team’s third male player, stepped in to fill the gap. Bellamy helped the team achieve a 3-2 record for the weekend.

“It’s been a wild week. We love having CJ on our team, and unfortunately, he wasn’t feeling good this week. I know he wanted to be out here, especially with this event being in Columbus, but I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to step up. I’ve just got a lot of awesome people around me. We have a really good team and good relationships all around, so that make it easy.” – (Bellamy)

Looking Ahead

The Columbus Sliders will next be in action at MLP San Clemente, scheduled for June 26-29. This win will give them momentum as they prepare for the next stage of the competition.
