Orlando Squeeze Surges Ahead as 2025 MLP Team Standings Take Unexpected Turns Post MLP Columbus Event

2025 MLP Team Standings: Orlando Squeeze, St. Louis Shock, and Dallas Flash Pickleball lead the 2025 Major League Pickleball team standings after the 2025 MLP Columbus event. Held in Columbus, Ohio, the competition saw teams from across the league battle for top positions. Each team’s performance shifted the rankings, showing who dominated and who fell behind.

Teams at the Top

Orlando Squeeze tops the standings with nine wins, two losses, and a strong 2.27 point ratio. The team has won 25 games and remains tied with the Columbus Sliders in total matches played. St. Louis Shock follows closely with eight wins and zero losses, having earned 23 game wins and a solid 2.88 point ratio.

Dallas Flash Pickleball also showed strong form, winning all four of its matches. With a clean 4–0 record and 12 game wins, it now has the best point ratio of 3.00, though with fewer matches than other leading teams.

Strong Contenders

New Jersey 5s and Texas Ranchers round out the top five teams. New Jersey 5s earned five wins and only one loss, reaching a point ratio of 2.17. Texas Ranchers, with three wins and one loss, have also been efficient, recording a 2.25 ratio.

Columbus Sliders, the host team for the latest event, impressed with seven wins and four losses, winning 20 games overall and ranking third with a point ratio of 1.82.

Mid-Tier Teams and Close Competition

Miami Pickleball Club performed steadily, recording six wins and five losses. With 16 game wins and a 1.45 ratio, they remain within striking distance of the top tier. Los Angeles Mad Drops, Brooklyn Pickleball Team, and Chicago Slice sit in the middle with mixed results.

Brooklyn Pickleball Team, with two wins and three losses, holds a high point ratio of 1.60, while Chicago Slice stands even with two wins and six losses but has maintained a 1.00 ratio.

New York Hustlers, Atlanta Bouncers, and Phoenix Flames have struggled to stay consistent, all showing more losses than wins. New York Hustlers posted a 0.71 ratio, while Atlanta Bouncers had nine losses despite playing the most matches and winning only three.

Teams Needing a Turnaround

At the bottom of the standings, Carolina Hogs, SoCal Hard Eights, and Utah Black Diamonds are looking for improvement. Carolina Hogs and SoCal Hard Eights have no wins and sit at the lowest win ratio of 0.25 and 0.50, respectively.

Utah Black Diamonds have lost all three of their matches so far, standing at a 0.33 ratio. These teams will need to improve fast in upcoming events if they want to climb out of the bottom and keep playoff hopes alive.

What’s Next for the League

With each event, the Major League Pickleball 2025 season becomes more intense. The rankings show which teams are rising and which are falling. While Orlando Squeeze and St. Louis Shock are setting the pace, others like New Jersey 5s, Dallas Flash Pickleball, and Columbus Sliders are not far behind.
