Major League Pickleball Roster Shakeup: On Tuesday, May 14, 2025, two Major League Pickleball teams made roster moves at the end of Waiver Period #1. The Dallas Flash added Ivan Jakovljevic, while the SoCal Hard Eights signed 17-year-old Jalina Ingram. Each team also released a player to complete the changes.
Dallas Strengthens Its Lineup
The Flash, who are undefeated with a 4-0 record and 12 points, dropped Wyatt Stone to bring in Ivan Jakovljevic. It’s been a busy week for Ivan Jakovljevic.
First, the SoCal Hard Eights traded him to the Columbus Sliders as part of their claim for Roscoe Bellamy. Then, Columbus released Ivan Jakovljevic to pick up Ross Whittaker. Now, he joins the 2024 Premier level champions.
Ivan Jakovljevic brings athletic experience from another sport—he is a former professional soccer player—and now finds himself on one of the league’s top teams.
