Dallas Flash Stun Rivals in DreamBreaker Thriller to Extend Unbeaten Streak in 2025 MLP Austin

Dallas Flash Stun Rivals in DreamBreaker: The Dallas Flash stayed unbeaten with a 3-2 win over the New Jersey 5s on Sunday at 2025 MLP Austin. The match came down to a DreamBreaker, where the Flash took control and won 21-11. The defending champions improved to 8-0 with 22 points in the season standings.

The victory took place on Championship Court and marked the second DreamBreaker win in a row for Dallas, who also defeated the Texas Ranchers in a similar fashion on Saturday.

Flash Jump Ahead, 5s Respond

Dallas started strong with Jorja Johnson and Tyra Black beating Anna Leigh Waters and Meghan Dizon 11-3 in the women’s doubles match. The New Jersey 5s came back in the next game when Will Howells and Zane Navratil defeated Augie Ge and JW Johnson 11-8 in men’s doubles.

The third game saw Tyra Black and Augie Ge grab a win for Dallas over Meghan Dizon and Zane Navratil, 11-7 in mixed doubles. But New Jersey bounced back again, as Anna Leigh Waters and Will Howells beat Jorja Johnson and JW Johnson 11-5. This tied the match at 2-2 and sent both teams to a DreamBreaker.

DreamBreaker Domination

Dallas came out strong in the final game and pulled ahead quickly. They won the DreamBreaker 21-11 to seal the match and stay perfect for the season.

Jorja Johnson once again stood out, helping her team take the win against a tough New Jersey squad.

“Regardless of who I’m playing, I’m just trying to stick to my game and just focus on me. Obviously, she’s the best. I was just looking to be aggressive and try my best for my team. Thankfully, it went my way this time.” – (jorja)

Johnson Leads the Way

Jorja Johnson has been a key reason for Dallas’ strong season. The 18-year-old now holds a 15-1 match record and has won more than 76% of her points this year.

“Maybe it was the MLP win, you know, a new level confidence, and knowing I get to do it beside all these great people. Not only the four starters, but also our two bench players, who have been great all weekend. We’re super happy to have them out there. Thank you to all the friends and family who came out to watch.” – (jorja)
