Orlando Squeeze Dominates Miami Pickleball Club to Spark Playoff Hopes in 2025 MLP Austin

Orlando Squeeze Dominates Miami Pickleball Club: The Orlando Squeeze wrapped up their trip to Texas with a strong win, beating the Miami Pickleball Club 3-1 on Monday afternoon in Major League Pickleball Austin. The victory gave Orlando its first regulation win at the event, improving its record to 10-5 with 28 total points.

The match, which took place in Austin, Texas, was an important chance for Orlando to build confidence before their next tournament. Miami Pickleball Club, now 6-9 with 16 points, finished the match with one win out of four games.

Orlando Closes Out Strong in Texas

Orlando showed teamwork and skill as they won three of the four games in the match. They began with a win in women’s doubles. Lacy Schneemann and Samantha Parker of Orlando beat Mya Bui and Milan Rane of Miami 11-6.

Then, in men’s doubles, Federico Staksrud and Dylan Frazier gave Orlando their second win by beating Jay Devilliers and Noe Khlif of Miami 11-2.

The third win came in mixed doubles. Lacy Schneemann and Federico Staksrud defeated Mya Bui and Jay Devilliers 11-9.

Miami earned its only win in the final game. Milan Rane and Noe Khlif beat Samantha Parker and Dylan Frazier 11-3.

“It’s definitely something that we wanted to do, take a little momentum going into the next tournament. It’s always a learning experience, so we just want to come out here and continue to get better. We feel like we’ve got some things to work on, but we figured some things out along the way, too, so I think we’re in good shape going forward.” – (Frazier)

“This team is just going to keep getting better. This is a playoff team, so we’re just getting ready for the playoffs.” – (Staksrud)
