100K Dollars Up for Grabs: 2025 Dink Minor League Pickleball Nationals Draws Global Amateur Talent to Dallas

2025 Dink Minor League Pickleball Nationals: The 2025 Dink Minor League Pickleball (MiLP) National Championship will take place from December 3 to December 7 at Pickler Universe in Dallas, Texas. The tournament will bring together top amateur pickleball players from around the world to compete for national titles and a share of the $100,000 prize pool.

This major team event in amateur pickleball is open only to qualified players and teams. Players earn their spot through tournaments held across the United States and other countries, based on their DUPR ratings and performance in MiLP events throughout the 2025 season.

A Global Event for Amateur Players

This is more than just a national tournament — it’s a global competition. Players from more than twelve countries are working through national paths to earn the chance to compete. The event is built around DUPR ratings and focuses on teamwork, talent, and the drive to win.

Earning a Spot at Nationals

The 2025 season began on October 15, 2024, and runs until October 20, 2025. During this time, players can take part in:

  • State Championships in places like Oklahoma, Arizona, Illinois, and Colorado
  • Regional Showdowns in Texas, New Jersey, Florida, California, and more

Anyone with a DUPR account can join these events. But to play at Nationals, an invitation is required.

Who Gets Invited?

There are three ways to receive an invitation:

  1. Dream Ticket Teams: Teams that win gold at a State Championship or Regional Showdown get a Dream Ticket, which guarantees a spot at Nationals. These teams must include at least two of the original players and play in the same division they qualified in, unless their rating changes.
  2. Top Leaderboard Players: Players ranked high on the 2025 National DUPR Leaderboard can create their own teams for Nationals.
  3. Wild Card Bids: State Pro League teams and teams from Major League Pickleball can receive Wild Card invitations.

Confirmed Pro and MLP Teams

State Pro Leagues confirmed for Nationals include:

  • All Florida Pro League
  • Michigan Pickleball League
  • Oklahoma Premier Pickleball League
  • Wichita Premier Pickleball League

Teams from Major League Pickleball invited are:

Any player who has played in a MiLP event during the 2025 season can join a team that gets invited.

New Features in 2025

This year brings exciting changes:

  • Gendered 3v3 divisions for men and women
  • An Open Division with no DUPR rating cap
  • Special team rating caps just for Nationals to keep play fair and even

The regular team rating limit ending in .300 will still be used for all other MiLP events. For Nationals, the limit ends in .900.
