Mixed Doubles Make the Difference
After the two teams split the early gender doubles matchups, Los Angeles took control during the mixed doubles. Jade Kawamoto and Hunter Johnson won the first mixed doubles game 11-8 over Connor Garnett and Allyce Jones. Spencer Smith Finishes Strong
This was the last match for Spencer Smith as a temporary replacement for Quang Duong, who had been suspended for four matches. Smith helped the Los Angeles Mad Drops go 3-1 during that stretch.
