Utah Grabs Early Lead
The Utah Black Diamonds got off to a strong start in the women’s doubles match. Allyce Jones and Genie Erokhina worked together to defeat Tamaryn Emmrich and Kaitlyn Christian of the Carolina Hogs with a score of 11-6.
In the men’s doubles, Utah’s Connor Garnett and Tyler Loong went up against Ben Johns and Collin Johns. It was a close battle, but Garnett and Loong held on to win 12-10, putting Utah ahead 2-0.
Utah Seals the Win in Mixed Doubles
In the first mixed doubles match, Connor Garnett teamed up with Allyce Jones. They played against Ben Johns and Tamaryn Emmrich and won 11-7, securing the team victory for the Utah Black Diamonds.
Carolina managed to take one match in the second mixed doubles. Kaitlyn Christian and Collin Johns pulled off a tight 13-11 win over Tyler Loong and Genie Erokhina, making the final score 3-1.
