MLP New York City Pickleball Showdown: Major League Pickleball is bringing top-level play to New York City over the 4th of July weekend. From Thursday, July 3, through Sunday, July 6, Sportime Randall’s Island will host six Premier teams and all six Challenger teams battling for standings points. This event is part of the 2025 regular season and is the seventh of ten stops before the MLP Playoffs and Finals later this month.

Key Teams in Action
Fans will see the Brooklyn Pickleball Team, Carolina Hogs, Columbus Sliders, Miami Pickleball Club, New York Hustlers, and Orlando Squeeze compete. Other Premier teams, including Atlanta Bouncers, Chicago Slice, Dallas Flash, Los Angeles Mad Drops, New Jersey 5s, Phoenix Flames, SoCal Hard 8s, St. Louis Shock, Texas Ranchers, and Utah Black Diamonds, will not play in New York.
Brooklyn Pickleball Team will host the event. The Carolina Hogs will look to improve their place in the standings as they chase a playoff spot. Columbus Sliders, Miami Pickleball Club, New York Hustlers, and Orlando Squeeze also hope to secure key wins.
A Venue Close to the Action
Sportime Randall’s Island, home to the John McEnroe Tennis Academy, is just minutes from Manhattan. Fans can watch Championship Court matches starting at 2 p.m. EST on Thursday, 12 p.m. EST on Friday, and 11 a.m. EST on Saturday and Sunday. Matches will air on Pickleballtv for those unable to attend in person.
A Prelude to the MLP Finals
This New York event sets up the season’s biggest moment: the MLP Finals returning to Central Park later in July. Teams will fight to earn valuable points toward playoff qualification and the chance to win what organizers call “the hardest trophy to win in all of pro pickleball.”
