The match came down to the Dreambreaker tiebreaker, where the Nashville Chefs edged ahead 22-20 to claim victory on the first day of play.
Both Premier Level and Challenger Level teams competed in important opening matches. The Nashville Chefs and the D.C. Pickleball Team battled through five games before the winner was decided.

Women’s Doubles Open the Match
In women’s doubles, Michelle Esquivel and Ewa Radzikowska of the Nashville Chefs earned an early lead by beating Christa Gecheva and Andrea Koop 11-9. This win gave the Chefs their first point of the contest.
Men’s Doubles Levels the Score
The D.C. Pickleball Team struck back in men’s doubles. Daniel De La Rosa and Stefan Auvergne defeated Marshall Brown and Anderson Scarpa with a clear 11-4 result, tying the overall match score.
Mixed Doubles Matches Go Both Ways
