Dink Minor League Pickleball Showdown: The Dink Minor League Pickleball tournament is set to take place at Lake Geneva Tennis and Pickleball in Wisconsin on July 19 and 20, 2025. Registration is open and will close on July 14. Players must register and pay as a team, with costs ranging from $65 to $85 per player. Ben Rasey will serve as the tournament director for this competitive and fun event.
Prize Pool and Tournament Format
This event gives amateur players a chance to compete for prize money while enjoying the popular MLPlay™ format. Registration fees have been lowered, but the prize pool remains the same. Each team includes two men and two women, competing in four games—women’s doubles, men’s doubles, and two mixed doubles. If teams are tied 2-2, they go to a Dreambreaker™, a fast-paced singles rotation game played to 21.
Prize money for the DUPR 18 division will increase by $125 for each team that registers. For example, if eight teams sign up, the prize total reaches $1,000. There is no longer a $1,000 cap, allowing for bigger rewards as more teams enter.
Schedule and Divisions
The event will be split over two days. On July 19, DUPR 16 and DUPR 14 divisions will begin at noon. On July 20, DUPR 18 and DUPR 16 (50+ age group) will start at 8:00 a.m. Start times may change depending on how many teams sign up, but the days of play will remain fixed.
Impact and Opportunity
This tournament offers more than just matches—it’s a step toward the national stage. With a format that promotes teamwork and excitement, The Dink Minor League Pickleball continues to attract more players. The event at Lake Geneva is expected to bring together top local talent and provide a great experience for fans and athletes alike.
